About me

I'm CTO at Avanzar YPF Agro, where I lead the technology strategy of one of the most relevant agri networks in the country. My job is not to pick tools: it's to translate business objectives into systems that scale, data that gets used, and processes that get automated where time was previously being lost.

My path to the role was bottom-up: six years working through the stack, starting in support and infrastructure, moving through networking and cybersecurity, and ultimately building from scratch the business intelligence ecosystem the operation runs on today. That trajectory gives me something CTOs from a management background don't always have: I know exactly what breaks, why, and how much it costs to fix.

Today my focus is on three fronts: turning data into decisions (Power BI, SQL Server, Data Warehouse), automating the repetitive so the team can think about what matters (Power Automate, n8n, APIs), and introducing applied artificial intelligence where it moves the needle — not where it looks good on a slide.

How I think

Technology is leverage, not a trophy.

If it doesn't move a business number, it doesn't matter how elegant the solution is.

Accessible data > pretty dashboards.

A spreadsheet the manager opens every day beats an award-winning Power BI report nobody checks.

Automate the repetitive, humanize the critical.

AI and workflows take the boring tasks. The decisions that matter stay human.

Build vs buy: time-to-value first.

I don't marry the stack. I marry the outcome and the speed to get there.

Security as culture, not as a layer.

A control that depends on someone remembering to do it is not a control.

AI with judgment, not hype.

The question is not "can it be done with AI?". It's "is this the best way to solve this today?".
